About Me and
MomsWoodworking.com

This is me.

This is the Kid Who Made Me a Mom!

It was the best decision I ever made to become Robb's mom!

Glass insets on this door had slipped since the door was installed 33 years earlier.

This is the Kid Helping With One of Mom's Projects!

Robb is not always Mom's most eager helper**, but it is fun to hear him tell people he knows how to replace a toilet (like he did in church on Sunday), or to show our guests all of the projects he has worked on.

**Maybe because Mom has too many projects. . . .

Other Kids Help, too!

Encouraging kids to safely use tools is a joy!  This special buddy of mine ALWAYS is eager for any kind of project:  sewing pillows, making leather bracelets, dipping pretzels, building birdhouses, trimming brush.  On this day she was helping me transform the laundry room cabinet doors.  It is also the day we both learned how to use a brad nailer.

Removing the plastic trim left a bunch of holes in the exterior of the door.

Always a Project That a Child Can Help Me With!

Demolition happens a lot easier than rebuilding.  This chair sat for months waiting to be put back together right!  But my little friend and I had fun in the demolition process!

I Have Lots of Outdoor Projects, too!

My son's best friend, Patrick, spends a lot of week-ends at our home.  He is the expert on all of the outdoor projects and a joy to work with!
